Tahini Cookies
This recipe for a quick and easy afternoon treat is a great alternative for your traditional tea biscuits. Those tahini cookies are soft, chewy and crumbly. The sesame flavour really shines through, it’s a bit like halva, so if you had it before and liked it, you will definitely enjoy them.
Tahini is an amazing sesame paste that works for both – savoury and sweet dishes. We all know and love hummus. I think that’s the first recipe that comes to everyone’s mind when we think of tahini but there is so much more we can do with it, like baba ghanoush, sauces, salad dressings, loaf cakes and of course cookies.
